  • Life in Lockdown

    Wed 03 Jun 2020

We are all living through a historic period as we experience a worldwide lockdown so decided to join with schools across the town as part of Southport Learning Partnership to try and mark this happening in a creative way that can serve as a historical record. We asked the children to reflect on their own personal experiences of life in lockdown during the Coronavirus outbreak by either writing, drawing or photographing something about their day-to-day experiences. Here are some of the wonderful examples of work that we have received so far. Thank you to everyone who has worked really hard on their projects.  Please keep sending them in if you haven't already and we can add them to our collection.

  • Sefton Says Thanks

    Tue 21 Apr 2020

This week Sefton launched their Thank you to teachers’ campaign, #SeftonSaysThanks. They’re asking local children to make a ‘Thank you’ card for their favourite teacher/s, remembering to include a special message, and send it to them so we can share it with the schools and our local communities.
