The National Year of Reading 2026
The National Year of Reading 2026 is a UK-wide campaign commissioned by the government to address a significant decline in reading for pleasure among children and adults. Delivered by the National Literacy Trust in partnership with the Department for Education, the initiative aims to transform the nation's reading culture by positioning reading as a modern, social, and personally rewarding activity.
